Under the hood, this beast is powered by a robust 451ci V8 engine, which began as a 400ci V8 but has been bored and stroked with a kit from Muscle Motors. It features an Edelbrock 750 4-barrel carburetor, an MSD ignition system with an electronic distributor, a heavy-duty aluminum radiator, an Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, a Comp Cams camshaft, and Source 440 aluminum heads finished by Muscle Motors. The performance upgrades include a valve grind, superior springs, and valves. Power is delivered through a Chrysler 833 4-speed manual transmission, and an 8 3/4 3.55 Sure Grip rear end, providing excellent traction and acceleration.
The exterior of this Road Runner gleams with its Autumn Bronze Metallic paint, complemented by rechromed original bumpers and 15-inch Magnum 500 chrome wheels. The correct decals add an authentic touch to its classic appeal. The front end features all-new bushings and shocks, while the rear sports new super stock springs and shocks. The braking system has been updated with front disc brakes, new brake piping, and a new master cylinder. Power steering is enhanced with a new gearbox, making this muscle car as practical as it is powerful.
Inside, the interior has been fully reupholstered with attention to detail. The new headliner, functional gauges, and a new center console with a Hurst Pistol Grip shifter make for a stunning interior. The Resto Radio AM/FM radio keeps the classic look while offering updated functionality. During its restoration, new rear quarter panels were installed by Ron Sall Body Werx, ensuring the bodywork is as impressive as the performance.
